This is multisensory course that will equip educators to use hands-on tools to build and decode words by using roots, prefixes, and suffixes.

After participating in this structured literacy course, educators will have a thorough understanding of the morphological structure of English and be able to show students how to use roots, prefixes, and suffixes to enrich their vocabularies and decode complex words. Educators will be able to show students how to apply their decoding skills to reading comprehension.
